Edward Ricourt

Edward Ricourt is an American screenwriter and television producer. He began his career through Marvel Studios' Writing Program, which encouraged him to write a script for Luke Cage, as it was of high interest to the studio. Despite no Luke Cage project being made, Ricourt contributed uncredited script revisions to Thor (2011). However, Ricourt gained significant recognition in theatrical filmmaking as a co-writer of the screenplay and story for the heist thriller Now You See Me (2013), which led to further involvement in the franchise.

In television, Ricourt served as a writer and executive story editor on Wayward Pines (2015), contributing to the show’s second season. That same year, he wrote for the Marvel television series Jessica Jones (2015) and worked as a consulting producer.

Ricourt continued this trajectory as a writer and producer on Netflix’s superhero family drama Raising Dion (2019), where he wrote teleplays and served as a producer and later supervising producer across multiple episodes from 2019 to 2022. He was nominated at the Children’s & Family Emmy Awards for Outstanding Children’s or Family Viewing Series for Raising Dion (2019), alongside fellow producers and creative leads.
