
Tereza was born in 1988 in Trnava, grew up in Bratislava and currently lives and studies in Prague. She studied at Charles University, Faculty of Humanities and FAMU in Prague. She received a bachelor's degree in documentary filmmaking and is currently completing her graduate year in feature film directing.
At the age of twenty, she made her documentary debut, Jesus is Normal, in co-production with HBO, which was shown at several festivals and was released in the Czech Republic. She has directed several documentaries for Czech Television and RTVS. In addition to directing, she was also a screenwriter and presenter of the music program Knock Out on Óčka, which mapped the alternative club scene.
She also works as an actress, playing the main characters in several feature films (Small Celebrations, Tango with Mosquitoes, Balls, 10 Rules for Getting a Girl).
