
Born and raised in Lisbon has a degree in Architecture and Art history at Architecture University of Lisbon, with a background as artist in painting, sculpture, interiors and fashion designer, developing is career trough advertising, features films and TV series.
From the urban energy of Lisbon to Barcelona and the striking landscapes of Africa, Sergio has led art departments while fulfilling roles as production designer, art director, set designer, construction designer, and art department coordinator.
His notable projects include, The color out of space, Atomic Circus, The covenant, Lost in Fuseta series or Confessions of Felix Krull, along with numerous other local and international projects filmed across Europe and Africa in diverse locations.
Whether crafting intricate sets as a set designer in remote locations or overseeing complete production design for complex narrative projects, he combines technical precision with creative vision. His work demonstrates how compelling visual storytelling adapts to any environment - from major European productions to ambitious shoots in Africa's most cinematic landscapes. His practice comprises multiple roles within the art department, showcasing his versatility and expertise in creating immersive visual environments for storytelling.
