Polina Lozh

Polina was born in a spectacular city of Almaty, Kazakhstan. In 2021 she started studying directing in the workshop of director Mariya Abadieva. In June 2022, she finished her debut short film “Never”, which was selected in and won numerous international festivals. Moving on, she has made commercial videos, experimental short film and worked as an editor and producer on short projects. She has also performed as a judge on Dreamer Film Festival 2023 and as a speaker on ALP Film Festival 2023. During her exchange year in Maryland, U.S. in 2024 she graduated from Carroll County Career and Technology Center Video Production program with a seal of excellence. Polina made 3 successful short films in the United States. She then got a scholarship in the T.K. Zhurgenov Kazakh National Academy of Arts for Film Directing bachelor's program, where she continues her filmmaking journey.
