Trans woman is a WOMAN

Trans woman is a WOMAN, a documentary about the life struggles, challenges, and experiences of a trans woman in the dance industry. Our subject, JP Ponla, is a senior choreographer, stylist, and assistant creative director of the Philippines’ PHIercest and most sought-after dance company, The Addlib. JP is also part of the House of Mizrahi, the first-ever international house of Voguing in the Philippines. JP is a Cebuana and currently staying in Manila because of her profession of being a professional dancer. If not the first, she’s the current and only trans woman dancing in Corporate Events, Entertainment Shows, and on National Television.
