A film dealing with the living conditions of the coal miners, and the kind of environmental pressures they face. It also highlights their socio-economic conditions before and after nationalisation of coal mines in India. Their story is very much like the coal they mine. Their life is still submerged in the terrifying myths that are being instilled in their minds by vested interests.
