Countershot

Since 2022 the german police uses 106 surveillance cameras located in 7 zones of cologne, germany to surveil its people. I surveilled them back over the course of one month. „Countershot“ is a performative film study attempting to symbolically target governmental surveillance in public spaces through individual artistic practice. One super 8 cassette exposed exclusively with single frames; the act of shooting back.
