A man, desperate to prove his sanity, confesses the terrible act he committed. What began as a quiet obsession with an old man’s eye slowly unravels into paranoia, dread, and the unbearable weight of guilt.

I directed this film and I like my interpretation of the text. It was very important to seek to understadn the themes, tone, psychology Poe wrote about, so I could properly translate them into film, and incorporate elemnts of modern cinema that would draw the modern audience into it. The most challenging aspect was to techincally display the rich balck darkness in which the young man hides within, in the original text. How do you film near absolute darkness? We found a way. Watch the fiml to find out!
