Serge Élissalde has created something quite entertaining here as we follow a day in the life of a street sweeper working as the rain pours down. This man is not happy when things block the street, and so be it animal, mineral or four door saloon it is likely to end up squashed down the drain. That's until he encounters an innocent looking little urchin who has lost something. What might it be? Well after he's retrieved about five hundred tonnes of previously disposed of bric-a-brac he discovers it - only for the gendarmerie to discover him! It's a busy monochrome animation presented in a rapidly changing sketch style that works well for a few minutes of curmudgeonly joy that's really worth a gander.
