Power of the Paddle

After discovering how oysters filter 50 gallons of water a day, Chris Hopkinson wondered what Maryland could do to put more oysters in the Chesapeake Bay. If he could get people's attention with a crazy idea, maybe they would listen? Chris, 46, decides to attempt the first stand up paddle traversing the length of the Chesapeake Bay, over 200 miles. Wind, current, hurricanes, and massive tankers all stand in the way.
