Oh no! Saiyuki it isn't so! The classic novel from Chinese literature takes an unexpected turn down a kinky road to Japan and the majority of the cast somehow end up with sex changes! Now with only one male member left between them, our heroes are going to have to find some new ways to amuse themselves; which probably won't be too hard since they're in a town where anything and everything can be had for a price and even a dragon has to watch hisα (well, you get the idea!) So will these lethal lovelies be willing to Go-ku the distance? Oh, **** yeah! Get ready for a gender bender fender rear ender that'll plunge deeper into the west than you ever dreamed imaginable, over and over again, in THE KARMA SAIYUKI!!

Okay, before I say anything, I need to contextualize the power of this work of art. It is a beautiful, anti-system metaphor with an excellent plot and an award-worthy ending. But let's not get ahead of ourselves. First of all, as a professional hentai reviewer, I must say that it is art (although this was my first opinion). It's such a work of art that I should get a degree in hentai criticism. I went through a huge ordeal that kept me up until 12:24 at night just to create an account on IMDb (you can probably guess why I couldn't). With the sole objective of addressing the offense to society caused by the lack of adequate criticism of this work, so here I am. This work has everything (really). Many works think and claim to have everything, but this one does. It has sex, sex, sex, sex, action, drama, trauma, sex, comedy, epic fights, emotional moments, and it also has sex. The plot is simple... LIE. It's complex and perfect. Human-machine relationship, identity crisis, master-servant dynamic, doubts about one's own existence, rape, love, betrayal, and sex. And sex. Is a human being human if they have no control over their thoughts or actions? If you have a goal and fail to achieve it, what are you? Can a machine love? Is prostitution legal in that place with that girl whose age I doubt? Why was the child bald? Why did the robots grow penises when they were freeing their souls? It's too deep even for a zoophile like me. Because I'm a big cinephile, and I know what I'm talking about. It has everything: an introduction presenting the characters, a pointless blowjob, then a scene that doesn't make sense at first but in the end everything connects—the one with the robot prostitute who is being fucked and she's bleeding and doesn't have arms and stuff. Then they're in the desert and it shows the master-slave dynamic by showing how the bald guy is on a horse and his shitty robots aren't. They also show us how the master touches the breasts of one of the robots, and the robot is somewhere between complaining and letting him because he is her master. Pure cinema. Then we notice a development in the bald boy because he sees a girl he likes and even though there are plenty of big-breasted girls around, he chooses her even though she doesn't have that much of a chest. Pure cinema. Then all the robots have their respective whore to fuck while the other robot who is like Goku and has a monkey that is like Goku is on her flying cloud (like Goku) looking for the girls. Then the robots turn evil, altering their purpose, because their purpose was to give pleasure, but they give so much that it's too much (except for the pink-haired girl). This is very profound because it represents... damn, I want to sleep, I don't know why I'm doing this. Anyway, then Goku arrives. Oh, I forgot to mention that the bald guy violated the girl's anus, whose legal age I doubt. Anyway, then Goku girl arrives and destroys all the prostitutes. Well, it doesn't destroy them, it disables them. Then comes the exorcism scene, where they're told everything is alright, then they're kissed, and then they remember their past, and apparently some ugly guys raped them or something like that, it wasn't clear to me.... THEN THEY GROW SUPER COCKS AND THE EXORCISERS START SUCKING AND RIDING THEM UNTIL THEY CUM. And apparently ejaculation represents the release of guilt... or some bullshit like that. Ask Martin Scorsese (I think he directed this movie). Finally, they leave and forget about the bald boy, they go towards the sun, representing that they freed themselves from their master or something. The bald guy ends up with a bunch of prostitutes and they all have sex with him at the same time. In the end, he finishes on the face of the underage girl. And that's where this beautiful film ends; that final cumshot represented the end of the adventure (a detail I love is, penises always ejaculate at a key moment in the film, with significant narrative weight, like when they heal the robot prostitute girls and such. Or the bald boy, who didn't come until the very end of the film, representing the end of the adventure and the moment when the bald boy became a better person and the world changed.) And that's my review, 10/10 better than Ozymandias, better than the entire Breaking Bad series. Better than the entire fucking Godfather trilogy. It changed my perspective on life, and I enjoyed masturbating to the movie, or episode, or series, or whatever it is. The one I liked the most was the girl who was definitely not underage (I'm joking, she did look older, the bald guy was underage). I find it incredible how the director of this film prioritized art above all else. It's a Japanese film, and yet... Japan has two fundamental laws: no vaginas, no penises, and no pubic hair. BUT THE DIRECTOR SAID FUCK YOU, I'LL GIVE YOU BOTH. Besides, in 2007, he really didn't care about anything... but seriously, the fight scenes are very, very fluid. Actually, the animation is excellent. even though it's almost 20 years old. And more importantly, NO FUCKING CENSORSHIP, LET'S GOOOOO.
That was my review, many thanks to director Francis Ford Gilligan Coppola del Toro Scorsese Spielberg Jr for this work of art of the seventh art.
I'll be waiting for my honorable mention when they give out the Emmy.
