Davina Jackson and her husband Al seem to have won the prize living their lavish lifestyle. But not everyone is happy, and soon they find themselves asking ...is this the life they really want?

Davina looks back on her childhood, and returns to her old haunts where the ghostly appearance of her imaginary friend reminds her of a childhood when nothing could hold her back. She is left to wonder where she lost her way.

Al is trying to write an article on what makes a classic. But when a world-famous author flies in from America and sets his eyes on Davina, he tells Al that she is an absolute classic and begins to seduce her.

Roger fires his piano teacher for making eyes at his wife Veronica. Davina is shocked and she thinks he has only done it to show his more general contempt for artists. So she employs Greg, the piano teacher, to give lessons to Al. But when the young, sexy teacher starts making eyes at Davina behind Al’s back, she realises that there are a whole new set of lessons that she might want to learn.

Davina is worried that her brother-in-law Roger wants to start an affair with her. It is only after the unexpected arrival of Roger’s son Michael, that the true nature of Roger’s desires are revealed.

Al is losing everything. First, it’s his car radio, then it’s his newspaper column, and finally it’s his wife. But even after that, there is a still greater loss to come.
