In the pilot episode, Travis falls fast and hard for his new girl, Keisha Kakes with a "K", but the guys detect something shifty about her. Meanwhile Royce and the guys throw a party across the hall to raise extra money for the rent increase.

Omar comes up financially after receiving an insider trading tip and Jaheem tries to shoot his shot with Carmen after an awkward encounter.

Trouble ensues when Jaheem’s extremely pro-Black cousin comes to visit and tries to change the guys’ ideologies.

After a huge argument with Mercedes, Royce moves in with the guys and turns everything upside down. Todd turns over a new leaf when he discovers his ex-girlfriend is pregnant and Travis tries to revamp his page.

When Travis’s sister comes to visit, Omar finds himself in a romantic entanglement while Jaheem and Mercedes’ constant tension comes to a head.

Todd blackmails Omar after discovering him in bed with Lauren. Jaheem and Mercedes try to work out their relationship when her old flame comes to town to get her back.
