Yanase, a senior employee, is always eager to train Kaneda, but he is always treated with indifference by the junior employee. One day when the company holds a welcome party, a drunken Kaneda reveals that he's been in love with Yanase for a long time.

Yanase invites Kaneda to join the company's new project. During this time, the client makes an urgent request for a revision.

The person who Yanase was supposed to go with to a temple to collect research materials was suddenly unable to attend. As such, Kaneda takes their place instead, and the two of them have another opportunity to spend more time together.

A new supervisor, Benjamin, arrives at the company from Vancouver, but the way Kaneda sees it, Benjamin and Yanase's interactions seem a little too intimate…

Kaneda overhears Benjamin's accusations about Yanase's work while Yanase and Benjamin are at a bar, and Kaneda decides to confront him about it...

Kaneda is upset and shocked when he learns of Benjamin's plan to transfer Yanase to Vancouver.

After flying back home, Yanase writes down a list of "Ten Things He Wants To Do With Kaneda," one of which is to spend the night at Kaneda's house. One day after work, Kaneda invites him over.

After a friend interrupts Kaneda and Yanase's time together, Kaneda finds a way to share what he feels with Yanase.
