To celebrate his 60th birthday, Werner Gyllenmark holds a party at his beach hotel and invites his family, employees and even his arch-enemy, Egil Grip. But the event ends abruptly with an accident that shocks the entire town - and slowly but surely, explosive secrets emerge that some people will go to any lengths to keep hidden.

Marianne mourns Egil's sudden death while Julie doesn't buy that his death was a medication error. Werner reveals who he wants as the new manager of the hotel.

Petra is devastated by Werner's choice of CEO. Julie has contacted the police and wants to know more about Egil's medication. Egil's will is read and a shocking secret is revealed.

Sebastian and Shirin are making themselves at home in Saltsjövik now that Sebastian has accepted the CEO position and Sebastian wants to start a challenging collaboration with Mistral.

Petra seems to have suddenly gone missing so Julie turns to Sebastian to see if he can find out more about Rebecca's mother. Lojsan has a problem with a guest which stirs up an old wound.

Petra has disappeared and the police have launched a search, but Werner thinks he knows why Petra is gone. When Svante takes courage about Lojsan, an old love turns up.

The terrible discovery in the harbor shakes everyone in the small town and the family is devastated. Meanwhile, Martin realizes he is unhappily in love and Inez pressures Vendela to go along with their plan.

Aksel wants them to go to the police with their findings about Sebastian, but Julie hesitates. Aksel and Sebastian clash. Werner asks Tone to spy on his behalf and Vendela stands up to her mother Inez.
