Join steam fans John Sergeant and Peter Davison on a rollicking adventure, as they try to cross Britain by steam. They soon run into trouble in the spectacular Lake District.

The steam buffs travel to the Isle of Wight on the Waverley paddle steamer, then ride a hundred-year-old Sentinel steam lorry, steam railway, and a small and uncomfortable steam roller.

Peter Davison and John Sergeant head to the Dorset coast to rediscover childhood memories, stunning scenery, scrapes aplenty and a bone-shattering cider wagon ride.

The steam buffs travel through the stunning Scottish Highlands via an exclusive steam car, a boat that blows a gasket on Loch Ness, and steam truck Helen Laddy.
