Eight Australian households participate in an immersive social experiment, giving up their city lives for a chance to live in the small rural town of Maryborough, Victoria.
01. Episode 1
The participants bid farewell to their city lives and arrive in Maryborough, Victoria, where the three-month-long pilot project starts; Hector, an El Salvador-born chef, is eager to introduce some Latin American dishes to the local pub's menu.
02. Episode 2
Claire takes on a carer role for the elderly, but her lack of fluency in English makes her job difficult; the Singhs enjoy Maryborough since it reminds them of life back in India; Eduardo and Estela host a salsa night.
03. Episode 3
As the Pilot Project draws to an end, the participants must decide if they'd rather stay or go; as a disability support worker, Estela is a blessing for the town, but she misses her family; Akon undergoes surgery but finds a way to contribute.
