As You Stood By

I like it, it's pretty interesting, however it's a bit unrealistic. For example, it starts with the character whose dad was abusing (beating up) her mother. Her friend also gets abusive husband and one of her customers also has abusive husband. I think it's way too many abusers around one person which makes it unrealistic. Another unrealistic thing I noticed is that her friend's husband who is abusive has sister who is cop and she found out her brother's wife was trying to report him and she threatened her to not do that. Basically she took her brothers side. Who would do that? Especially when we're talking about woman. Usually women stick with each other, especially when it comes to such things like abusing. I can't even imagine if I was a wife beater and my sister would find out about it and instead of giving me a hard time she would threaten my wife instead. Come on, it's not even realistic. Anyway, like a said, if we close an eye on those small mistakes, TV show is interesting and touches important topic that sadly still exists in our society. That is why I'm still rating this show higher despite those mistakes.
