Season 1

At Sunset Grove retirement home, the flag is at half-mast. However, the deceased is not one of the residents, but Tero, the cook in his thirties who was everyone's favorite. Siiri and Irma gather a group and head to the funeral.

Items and even residents are disappearing from the rooms at Sunset Grove, yet the medications keep piling up.

A new electric car appears in the courtyard, and an odd package arrives in Siiri's mailbox. Erkki Hiukkanen is doing unauthorized renovation work in the residents' rooms.

Siiri's wait for Christmas is bleak. Straw ornament workshop or Christmas pastry bingo doesn't excite her. Where is Irma? What is GDPR? Clues are found in Irma's room, and Irma's daughter Tuula arranges permission for Siiri to visit Irma.

Siiri finds not only Irma but also Reino the Printer. Anna-Liisa and Siiri decide to rescue Irma from the group home. Another new car appears in the courtyard. Reino the Printer reveals that Erkki Hiukkanen is behind the thefts.

Reino's phone is found. Siiri visits Irma and promises that freedom will come soon. Sundström announces the 'Holding Hands' project, which leads to chaos. Anna-Liisa and Siiri come up with a bold plan.

A fire breaks out in the group home, and Siiri is blamed for it. Irma is taken to the hospital, and Irma's grandchildren comes to empty Irma's home. Mika comes to help Siiri and gets her to sign an official document.

Virpi Hiukkanen gives Mika an envelope and sends an email to the police. Siiri receives some unpleasant mail, but one phone call brings her joy. Irma says goodbye to the hospital.
