Yuhi is a normal student whose classmate is kidnapped. Wanting to save him, Yuhi and his friends set out to search for their missing classmate. Knowing they need help, they enlist Officer Minato Kageaki to assist in the investigation as they try to find where he was taken.

Chapter 2 shifts the setting to a mountainous village, introducing key characters like the Tsuguri smiths (Kanae, Sayo, Yagenta, Funa, Fuki) and the enigmatic Fuuma Kotarou, while exploring the "Law of Balance" and Minato's conflicting ideals as he battles Rokuhara forces and Kotarou, highlighting the cruel reality that defeating evil often requires sacrificing innocents, and hinting at deeper conflicts and the cursed nature of the Muramasa armor.

This Chapter shifts its focus to a high-stakes racing event at a racetrack, serving as a front for the Minato, Ayane, and Kanae to hunt the Ginseigou, introducing key Rokuhara generals like Raichou and Chachamaru, and setting up Minato to race in Muramasa's armor to infiltrate and understand the corrupted forces, all while deepening the lore and political intrigue of the warring factions in Yamato, revealing hidden agendas and escalating threats.

Kageaki comes face to face with Ginseigo, only to uncover the shocking truth that she is his long-lost sister, Hikaru. As the revelation threatens to unravel him, a far greater danger emerges Sorichimaru, his true enemy, steps out of the shadows. With loyalties shattered and the past laid bare, Kageaki is forced to confront both his blood and the fate he has been trying to escape.
