Hikayat Shama

The series revolves around Shama, a young orphan who finds herself responsible for her home and crops after her father leaves for the Hajj pilgrimage. Her life changes when she is unjustly accused of cheating in the market. She defends herself before the governor by telling an eloquent story that reveals The truth is, because of her intelligence, the tribal chief appoints her as a storyteller in his council, which arouses the jealousy of his assistant, Jaafar, who begins to plot to distort her image, so Shama engages in a struggle sometimes with intelligence and sometimes with the power of storytelling to confront the harshness of reality.
