Aditya and Amrita's love blooms amidst disapproving looks. 25 years later, Amrita is at the peak of her career and Aditya is her biggest support.

Amrita worries about how Vasudha would react, but the mother surprises her daughter. Problems brew around Neeraj's dream project and with Vasudha's health.

Vasudha's death shatters the family. Being the eldest, everyone expects Amrita to step up, but she feels lost.

Amrita loses herself in added responsibilities, but Aditya tries to cheer her up. Meanwhile, Neeraj's problems at work spill over onto his home life, alarming Amrita.

Amrita confronts her father again, but he still struggles by himself. Finally, Aditya and Amrita convince Neeraj to go for therapy.

Amrita decides to fight her battle alone. In a meeting with the lenders, she declares that she would take over her dad's business and gets seven days to submit the project report.

Aditya inspires a worried Amrita through a bike ride. Shock awaits Amrita as court orders her to vacate the house in two days, and the relatives decide to separate the siblings.

Fearing separation, the siblings flee to Adi's house. Amrita learns Abhinav is job hunting, and moved by his resolve, she decides to seek work from Makrand Aagrwal herself.

Amrita gets a job and finds a house for rent. After relatives scorn her relationship with Aditya, Amrita asks him to stay away. Later, she and her siblings vacate their house.

Amrita, with her siblings, shifts to Raja ki Mandi. But, the kids are unable to adjust to the surroundings. Shock awaits Amrita when Aditya goes missing.

After Amrita finds Aditya, he proposes marriage to her. Amrita gets late on her first day at work. She is shocked when Aditya’s mother shares an alternate arrangement with her.

Nisha convinces Amrita to accept the marriage arrangement. Aditya helps Amrita solve her office issue. Later, Amrita accepts Aditya’s wedding proposal.

Adi dreams of a future with Amrita, while Nirmala fears society will label her son a live-in son-in-law. Elsewhere, Amrita struggles to balance work and time with Adi's family.

Amrita misses the family dinner due to work-life balance struggles. Nirmala is upset, but Adi patiently waits for her to return so they can eat together.

Upset with Aditya, Nirmala distances herself from the wedding preparations. Amrita realises that she is the reason for the growing rift between Aditya and his family.

Aditya feels guilty to see his mother upset. Amrita is shattered when, after business meeting, the lenders decide to sell her dad's company. Amrita’s call leaves Nirmala in shock

When Amrita's loan is denied, she deliberately ends her marriage with Adi. Despite his efforts to mend things, she insults his mother, pushing Adi to lose his temper and walk away.

Upon discovering that Adi covered for Abhinav at the health camp, Amrita compensates him, turning payment into an insult. Later, Neeta brings a proposal for Adi, which he accepts.

Amrita and Aditya try to move on in life. At work, Amrita impresses Makrand. Amrita coincidentally bumps into Shraddha and learns that she is meeting Aditya for a future alliance.

Aditya confesses his love for Amrita to Shraddha. Nisha wants Amrita to wish Aditya on his birthday. But, when Amrita sees Aditya with Shraddha, she decides to step back.

Aditya is hurt that Amrita didn’t wish him on his birthday. He challenges her to attend his birthday dinner with Shraddha. Later, Shraddha is convinced that Amrita has moved on.

Aditya’s family is happy as Shraddha says yes. Makrand suggests Amrita wear a gold ring for luck. Seeing Aditya’s concern for Amrita, Shraddha releases that he has not moved on.

Shraddha confronts Adi and Amrita while Adi promises to forget Amrita and move on. Makrand supports Amrita, and she gains approval to restart her late father’s project.

Amrita begins the project with a ritual, unaware of the site manager and union leader's sinister plan. Meanwhile, Adi apologises to Shraddha for being distracted all the time.

Amrita cleverly outwits the union leader by distributing individual cheques. He attempts to assault Amrita, resulting in Adi getting hurt while trying to save her from the attack.

Shraddha's father learns of Adi's past in the hospital and wants to cancel the wedding. Adi insists the engagement proceeds, and Amrita accidentally reaches the engagement venue.

Amrita's attendance at her cousin's engagement ends in humiliation. Shraddha confronts Adi just before their engagement when his injury flares up.

Amrita deliberately pushes Adi away. A disheartened Adi lands up on a train where a miracle happens.

Shraddha's father demands compensation, which leads to a conflict within the Dixit family. However, Nirmala puts her foot down.

Adi offers to tutor Amrita's siblings. At work, Amrita feels something is amiss in Makrand's life. Prashant enters Amrita's life.

Amrita meets investors for a possible joint venture. Although Prashant helps her, he starts instigating Abhinav against Adi.

Adi and Amrita's closeness infuriates Prashant. Amrita tries to buy a mobile phone but stops herself because it's expensive. However, the next day, someone delivers it to her.

Amrita shares her suspicions with Adi about Prashant, who approaches her for a job in her company. After failing to find the anonymous gift-giver, Adi finally gets a break.

Adi tells Amrita about the mobile bill, and she goes to confront Prashant. Amrita finds out about Makrand's secret life. Meanwhile, at work, Amrita's absence infuriates Prashant.

Furious after hearing Adi tell Amrita to fire him, Prashant tampers with his bike. While the police suspect Adi’s accident was planned, Prashant makes another attempt to kill him.

Amrita gets Prashant arrested for causing Adi's accident. She approaches Makrand, who assigns his best lawyers to help her. Madhu creates chaos as her brother is taken to custody.

Madhu accidentally uncovers Prashant's hidden truth. While she stands by Amrita in court, she credits Nirmala for showing her the reality. Later, Amrita finds a mother in Nirmala.

Adi and Amrita long for each other when Nirmala invites her to her place. Amrita scolds Makrand on discovering his hidden lifestyle. Adi’s sister sends him legal notice.

Amrita tries to bridge the rift between Adi and his sisters, but Smriti refuses to accept her. Amrita gets a letter from Singhals and becomes the boss of Adi's brothers-in-law.

Sanjay and Ashish refuse to take the audit report deadline seriously. Realising that personal and professional lives should be kept separate, Amrita turns a task master.

Amrita saves the situation when Sanjay and Ashish face the ire of the management for their shoddy work. While Smriti and Neeta apologise to her, Abhinav runs away from home.

Adi and Amrita find Abhinav at the station, where Adi finds out Abhinav's concerns about their relationship. Meanwhile, Amrita faces trouble for standing by her ethics.

Adi makes Amrita understand Abhinav's problem. With Abhinav’s help, she brings an ailing Makrand to her house. Later, Makrand learns about the condition put forth by the Singhals.

As Ammu and Adi grow closer, a promise keeps them apart. Years later, their bond endures and hope for a new beginning grows until an unexpected crisis threatens everything.
