
A collection of animated short films which featured for the first time Superman/Shazam!: The Return of Black Adam and extended versions of The Spectre, Jonah Hex and Green Arrow.

DC Showcase: The Spectre (2010) is an 11-minute animated supernatural noir short following LAPD detective Jim Corrigan (voiced by Gary Cole), who secretly acts as the Spectre, a spectral force of vengeance. Set in the 1970s, the film follows his investigation into the murder of Hollywood producer Foster Brenner, utilizing brutal, creative supernatural kills on the culprits.

DC Showcase: Jonah Hex (2010) is a 12-minute animated Western thriller following the disfigured bounty hunter as he tracks his quarry, Red Doc, to a town run by a murderous madam named Lorraine. After discovering Lorraine killed his target, Hex uses a saloon girl's help to lure and confront her, eventually leaving her trapped in a mine shaft with her victims.

While waiting to meet Black Canary, Oliver discovers a plot by Count Vertigo to kill his niece, Princess Perdita, to take the throne of Vlatava.

Superman protects Billy Batson from the murderous Black Adam, who seeks to kill the boy before he embraces his destiny as Captain Marvel. Adam, the Wizard Shazam's corrupt former champion, fights both heroes, leading to a showdown focusing on justice over vengeance.
