Season 8
Last of the Summer Wine's eighth series originally aired on BBC1 between 10 March and 14 April 1985. All episodes from this series were written by Roy Clarke and produced and directed by Alan J. W. Bell.
The eighth series was released on DVD in region 2 as a combined box set with series 7 on 3 March 2008.
01. The Mysterious Feet of Nora Batty
Foggy says Nora has big feet, thus upsetting Compo, so they set out to find out whether it is true or not.
02. Keeping Britain Tidy
A discarded mattress sets Foggy on a campaign to clean up the countryside.
03. Enter The Phantom
Compo turns into daredevil motorcycle rider "The Phantom" to prove to Nora that he is brave.
04. Catching Digby's Donkey
The trio set about the near impossible task of catching a stubborn donkey.
05. The Woollenmills of Your Mind
Compo enters the local marathon in order to impress Nora.
06. Who's Looking After the Cafe Then?
Ivy has to leave the cafe for the afternoon. Can she leave it in the capable hands of Foggy Dewhirst?
