Season 1

Everything is normal as the four main characters attend a normal day of high school. They discuss different foods and how they eat them. Later on, Kagami gets sick and all the characters go over to make sure she is okay.

During Golden Week, Kagami and Tsukasa have been playing together, but Tsukasa does not know her sister has been waking up earlier and going to bed later to study and finish homework; Konata pulls an all-nighter and decides to get a part-time job.

The girls discuss facts and myths about twins; Konata, Tsukasa and Miyuki compare notes on marriage; Konata, Tsukasa and Kagami try on ponytails; Minoru re-introduces Miyuki Takara.

Summer vacation is almost here and Konata is still staying up late playing online video games, reading manga and watching anime; Konata and Miyuki celebrate Kagami and Tsukasa's birthdays.

Konata, the Hiiragi twins and Miyuki go to a summer festival, dressed in yukata and Konata's cousin, Yui Narumi, is on patrol; Konata and Nanako chat over an MMORPG; Konata and the twins meet to do homework; Akira shares her insights on online games.

The group, along with Yui and Nanako, goes to the beach for some fun and spend a night in a Japanese inn; the twins have to clean their bedrooms and Konata discusses cleaning tactics with Kagami.

The girls return to school after summer vacation and find that Konata is under the influence of Marimite; Konata finds out that Kagami takes liberal arts just to be in the same class with everyone else; Miyuki attends school without her glasses.

It's time for mid-term exams and Konata cannot get into the practice of studying. The girls discuss their blood types and what type of games they play. Konata and the Hiiragi twins go see a movie, and Miyuki needs to put in her eye drops.

Tsukasa gets a new cell phone. Kagami teaches her how to text message. Tsukasa text messages Kagami to the point of sheer annoyance. Konata invites Kagami and Tsukasa over to her house and they forget to do their homework.

The end of the year is drawing to a close and Christmas is right around the corner; the girls discuss falling asleep on the bus; Kagami is annoyed that she didn't get a lot of studying done; Tsukasa talks with Konata and Miyuki about Santa Claus.

Konata, Kagami and Tsukasa go to Comiket 71; Konata meets Tsukasa and Kagami at a New Year festival and receives very bad luck in a lottery drawing; Konata goes out of her way to be nice to her dad in order to receive her otoshidama.

The Japanese New Year is coming up and everyone is excited, but Kagami is worried about her weight; the girls discuss various traditions, foods and myths about New Year's; Valentine's Day approaches.

Yutaka moves to Konata's house; Yutaka is nervous about high school entrance exams; Kagami complains about cram school calls; Konata and the Hiiragi twins return to the anime shop; Konata and the twins go to a restaurant.

Konata, Kagami, Tsukasa and Miyuki go to a concert; it's April Fool's Day and Konata calls Kagami and tells her that she is done with her homework; the new school year begins and Konata, Tsukasa and Miyuki are put into the same class again.

Konata shows off her new cell phone; Miyuki talks about how she and her mother can sometimes be forgetful; men outside the comic store take pictures of Tsukasa; Konata cosplays.

It's Konata's birthday and she is happy to be a legal adult; Konata's family decides to throw a surprise party for her; Kagami forgets to buy groceries for dinner.

Konata and her father discuss the Gundam franchise; at school, Nanako gets depressed after seeing her students go to Miyuki for help; Akira sends Shiraishi on a wilderness trip to Mt. Fuji.

Kagami and Konata talk about collectible figures; Konata is reluctant to do any homework and is caught playing games and reading manga; Konata, Miyuki, Tsukasa and Kagami get together to study.

The third-years go on a trip to Kyoto where Tsukasa feeds deer and, eventually, gets trampled by them; Kagami receives a letter from a boy asking her to come out at night; Konata leads the girls on a trip to the offices of Kyoto Animation.

Konata's late mother appears as a spirit and looks over her family as Konata and Sōjirō discuss what life was like when she was alive.

Konata and Yutaka become ill at the same time; Miyuki hears about a gum that will help prevent cavities; Minami is embarrassed.

Konata and her friends prepare for the school's cultural festival; Patricia decides to have the girls do a cheerleading session; after it ends, Konata, Tsukasa, Kagami, Miyuki, Ayano and Misao reflect on their last cultural festival.
