It's November 11th. Family Geunings and The Counsel of Eleven get ready for the festive start of the new carnival season. For the 35th time in a row Hubert Geunings will be crowned Prince Carnaval. But this year the festivity will be different than usual.

Frank thinks he's a worthy successor to his father. Also Yvonne suddenly feels something for the title as Prince. Marie-José proposes that whatever happens, they keep the title in the family. Serge and Walter blackmail Pol. He has to make Serge Prince Carnaval.

Erik feels hopeless now Yvonne is gone. Serge organizes a protest action at the local café against family Geunnings. Yvonne throws her self in the battle supported by Pol.

Erik takes a difficult decision to win back Yvonne. Chantal worries about Frank's health. Serge totally devotes himself to the campaign. Hubert doesn't like this at all. Nephew Joris and niece Betty try to hide their love for each other for others.
