With hopes of having more work-life balance, Mina buys a lakefront fixer-upper and jumps right into making it a restful family getaway. But when a huge sale falls through and jeopardizes the renovation, Mina must make a tough decision about her future.

Karen dives into a new chapter when she buys a rundown 120-year-old bungalow in Wilmington, North Carolina. It's a daunting task as her first solo reno, especially when expensive foundation repairs and an approaching hurricane threaten the entire project.

With help from some familiar faces from Indy, Karen puts some quirky projects into her colourful Wilmington house. While it's hard being away from her grandkids, Karen's excited when an opportunity to help her new community arises.
