Season 1

Se Kyung and Shin Ae live in the deep woods of the Taebaek Mountains with their dad. After going through twists and turns, the sisters finally set foot in Seoul. Will Se Kyung and Shin Ae be welcomed in Seoul, the city of dreams? Everything is so new to Shin Ae, but Se Kyung is too afraid to do anything in this unfamiliar land without their dad.

Se Kyung and Shin Ae are all by themselves in Seoul without their dad. To keep the promise they made to their dad, the sisters head to the N Seoul Tower. But while on their way, they lose all of their money. Meanwhile, Soon Jae and Ja Ok come to a crisis of being caught by the students.

Hyeon Gyeong is extremely suspicious about whether her father is in a romantic relationship with the vice-principal. Meanwhile, without getting to eat anything at all, Se Kyung and Shin Ae endlessly wait for their father, who doesn't seem to come for them.

Shin Ae and Se Kyung manage to find a place to stay temporarily, thanks to Julien's kindness. Meanwhile, Jung Eum becomes Jun Hyuk's tutor to pay her credit card bill, but she soon realizes that Jun Hyuk is the worst student that any tutor can ever have.

Soon Jae promises Ja Ok that he'll be there on September 11 for her birthday. However, he can't help but feel uneasy. He tries to remember what's on that day, but it just doesn't come up in his mind. Meanwhile, Se Kyung leaves Julien's house as she doesn't want to be more nuisance to him.

Bo Seog notices Soon Jae is in a relationship with Ja Ok, but he promises to keep it secret. However, Hyeon Gyeong suspects something is suspicious after witnessing Bo Seog acting awkwardly. She is determined to find out what he is hiding about Soon Jae, so she starts to ask him questions. Meanwhile, Shin Ae gets lost, and Se Kyung searches everywhere for her. She feels devastated because she can't find her, so she asks for help from other people.

Jun Hyuk suddenly gets a high score on his English test, and his teacher at school suspects him of cheating. Jun Hyuk tries to persuade him that he didn't cheat, but it's hard for the teacher to believe his words. Meanwhile, Hyeon Gyeong tenaciously tries to find out the truth about Soon Jae's relationship with Ja Ok. Soon Jae desperately tries to hide the truth from her as he knows she'll bring up her late mother.

Soon Jae's family members are disappointed in Soon Jae for his lies and behaviors, but he just can't give up on his love for Ja Ok. Meanwhile, Se Kyung happens to run into Ji Hoon once again while struggling to get used to her new work at a gas station.

Se Kyung begins working as a live-in housekeeper for Soon Jae's family after some tough difficulties, but Hyeong Gyeong isn't so happy about the idea of hiring her. Meanwhile, Shin Ae is frustrated that she has to put up with Hae Ri's mean attitude.

Soon Jae can't accept the fact that Ja Ok wants to break up with him. So he waits in front of her house until she comes out to meet him despite the heavy rain. Meanwhile, Jung Eum asks Ji Hoon to give her a ride to a subway station and ends up going to Sokcho with him.

Soon Jae gets his love back, but he catches bad flu from getting rained heavily. Hyeon Gyeong asks Se Kyung to make some pine nut porridge for Soon Jae, and she makes it with the millstone which once belonged to Hyeong Gyeong's late mother.

Jung Eum becomes famous overnight. But rather than being excited about it, she quivers with rage. So she comes up with a plan to get revenge on Ji Hoon. Meanwhile, Ja Ok and Hyeon Gyeong share a room on the school staff retreat. But before going to bed, Ja Ok shocks Hyeon Gyeong.

For Julien's birthday, Se Kyung and Shin Ae try to get him a gift. But since they don't have enough money, they ponder what to give him. And at last, the sisters come up with something! Meanwhile, Soon Jae's name was misspelled on his new nameplate due to Bo Seog's mistake.

Soon Jae is excited to go out on a date with Ja Ok. He is enjoying a meal with her in a restaurant when a server there mistakes him for Ja Ok's father. He suddenly feels he has to make an effort to look young to date Ja Ok, so he goes to a cosmetic surgery clinic. Meanwhile, Hae Ri gets a dollhouse as a present from her relative. Shin Ae is jealous of her and wants to have a dollhouse too.

Se Ho falls for Jung Eum the moment he sees her with her hair wet. He starts to daydream about her and even makes a bold move. Meanwhile, Bo Seog fails to close a deal with a client because he forgets to go to the meeting. Soon Jae gets angry and even says he shouldn't have let Hyeon Gyeong marry him. Feeling hurt, Bo Seog leaves the house and doesn't answer Hyeon Gyeong's phone calls. She goes out to look for him, reminiscing about the past when she dated him.

Hae Ri and her friends pick on Shin Ae for not attending school, so Se Kyung tries to send Shin Ae to school. But preparing for school is not so easy. Meanwhile, Soon Jae and Ja Ok run into Julien. Julien greets Ja Ok in the American style, but it seems too friendly to Soon Jae.

Jun Hyuk doesn't like Jung Eum, so he gets her fired. However, she reacts to it with a calm attitude. Jun Hyuk is supposed to be happy that he will no longer see her, but he feels uncomfortable for some reason. Meanwhile, Bo Seog admires Ji Hoon's intelligence. He prevents Ji Hoon from getting injured by getting hurt himself.

Childish and petty confrontations start. Ja Ok and Hyeon Gyeong engage in a war of nerves, which leads them to exact revenge on each other in a ridiculous way. Meanwhile, Jung Eum goes on a blind date, hoping to start a relationship. She gets excited to see that his date is a handsome guy. The date seems to go smoothly, but she encounters an obstacle.

Everyone should be happy as it's Chuseok. However, Se Kyung and Shin Ae become despondent because they can't help thinking about their dad. Meanwhile, Hyeon Gyeong is not happy either because Chuseok reminds her of an incident that happened five years ago. She wants to forget about it, but she can't. Bo Seog is restless and uncomfortable as she is feeling angry.

Se Kyung receives her first salary, which makes her and Shin Ae excited. However, Jung Eum is in a dire situation, so she borrows money from Se Kyung. Se Kyung finds out that Jung Eum doesn't have a good track record when it comes to paying the borrowed money back, so she starts to take drastic measures. Meanwhile, Soon Jae accompanies Ja Ok to a get-together she goes to regularly. He rides a bicycle to the get-together as Ja Ok finds cycling sexy, but something unexpected happens!

Jung Eum is disheartened after failing to get a chance to have a job interview many times in a row. Se Ho follows Jung Eum around like a stalker and gets caught again. Hae Ri and Shin Ae practice "Cinderella" for the school play day.

Hae Ri's new doll, Lloyd, has disappeared! She suspects Shin Ae has taken it while Se Kyung tries to defend her sister. Ji Hoon deploys his exceptional deductive skills to find the doll. Meanwhile, Soon Jae visits Ja Ok as she is sick. While they have a good time drinking tea, someone else comes to Ja Ok's house.

Bo Seog can't do anything right as usual. Soon Jae and Hyeon Gyeong boss him around, telling him what to do and how to do it. Then he hears from Se Ho and Shin Ae that he has no authority in his house and is treated poorly by his family members. He decides to take measures to correct this. Meanwhile, Jun Hyuk goes to see a musical with Jung Eum with complimentary tickets he got from Soon Jae. Surprisingly, Ji Hoon and Se Kyung are also there to see the musical!

Ja Ok has a preconception about Kwang Soo. She is convinced that Kwang Soo is behind all the bad things that happen in her house. Meanwhile, Shin Ae is held by a local food vendor after Hae Ri pulls a prank on her. Se Kyung does all she can to save her.

Jun Hyuk is skeptical about Jung Eum's attending university, and Ji Hoon keeps talking about Seoul National University, which Jung Eum doesn't attend. Jung Eum gets anxious that people will find out about her school. Meanwhile, Bo Seog and Hyeon Gyeong get nervous about Hae Ri's IQ test.

Jung Eum, Kwang Soo, and In Na look for the woman who took Ja Ok's lodge money. And Se Kyung joins the team. They all have their own purposes for catching the lady, but for the time being, they work together. Meanwhile, Soon Jae and Hyeon Gyeong get shocked by what Ji Hoon said.

Shin Ae loves to read books so much that she feels like she gets sores in her mouth if she doesn’t read, but Hae Ri is just not interested whatsoever. Shin Ae struggles to read books avoiding Hae Ri’s watch. Meanwhile, Se Kyung unintentionally gives Bo Seog clout.

Soon Jae goes on a date with Ja Ok but suddenly feels like farting. He tries to hold it, knowing that Ja Ok doesn't like people who fart in a public place. Meanwhile, Jung Eum takes her dog, Hit-it, to her tutoring session as the dog is sick. Ji Hoon shows an allergic reaction to the dog and tells Jung Eum to take it outside. She gets angry at Ji Hoon and comes up with a plan to get back at him.

Jung Eum wants to get discharged from the hospital quickly, but Ji Hoon tries to stop her for some reason. She gets angry at him, thinking he is pulling a prank on her. Meanwhile, Soon Jae wants to plan a surprise for the 100th day together with Ja Ok. Not being able to come up with a plan, he asks for Bo Seog's help.

Hyeon Gyeong accidentally causes Ja Ok to get injured and offers to carry her on her back. Ja Ok makes the most of this opportunity and comes up with plans to make her suffer. Meanwhile, Jung Eum takes offense when she sees Jun Hyuk talk to Se Kyung politely while he is always rude to her. She decides to take measures to make him treat her respectfully.

Se Kyung visits Ji Hoon at the hospital to bring him some broth and a change of clothes. His fellow doctors mistake her for his girlfriend and spread rumors that he has a hot girlfriend. Hyeon Gyeong, Jung Eum, and Se Kyung are all curious about who Ji Hoon's girlfriend is. Meanwhile, Lee Soon Jae Food and Beverage tries to close a deal with a Japanese company. And the Japanese buyers find Bo Seog attractive.

Hae Ri gets her head injured and suffers from memory loss. Not remembering who Shin Ae is, she thinks Shin Ae is her friend and acts kindly toward her. Meanwhile, Se Ho tries to get over Jung Eum, but it's not easy as she is nice to him.

Hae Ri invites her boyfriend, Kyo Bin, home, and a love triangle begins between the two and Shin Ae. Mistaken for a student, Se Kyung happens to participate in a gym class in school, where she discovers her hidden talent.

What should a family be like? Bo Seog is frustrated with how everyone looks down on him. Hyeon Gyeong doesn't get how Soo Jae can be indifferent to the family except for his lover, and Soon Jae is upset that Hyeon Gyeong opposes everything he suggests. Meanwhile, Kwang Soo and In Na can't enjoy their food because of Jung Eum.

Who is the actual big shot of Lee Soon Jae Food and Beverage? Everyone asks Soon Jae to hire someone they know as his secretary. Meanwhile, Jung Eum leaves Hit-it with Ji Hoon, but Hit-it disappears. So Ji Hoon and Jung Eum desperately look for Hit-it.

After Shin Ae gets the taste of a claw machine, she gets addicted to it. And she even ends up stealing money from Se Kyung. Will she be back as the good girl she was? Meanwhile, Se Ho suffers great pain.

Jun Hyuk's friends are divided into two groups. Some boys think Jung Eum is prettier, and the others are in favor of Se Kyung. They even conduct a popularity poll to decide who is better-looking. Even Jun Hyuk's family members have something to say about the looks of the two ladies. Meanwhile, a strange man appears naked before Bo Seog and mysteriously talks about the future.

Soon Jae has to close an important deal with another company, and he needs to take an interpreter to the meeting with the company. After Ja Ok recommends Julien, he decides to hire him as the interpreter. Thanks to Julien's fluent English and French, Soon Jae successfully closes the deal. Soon Jae tells Ja Ok a lie that he plans to give her 10,000 paper cranes as a gift to move her heart. Shin Ae and Hae Ri have homework to draw what they want to be in the future. But Shin Ae's dream seems to change constantly.

For Bo Seog, autumn and his trench coat are always special. In his memories, Michelle and her last words will always remain. Meanwhile, Se Kyung and Jung Eum get to have a drink together. Ji Hoon and Jun Hyuk are surprised to see how different they've become after getting drunk.

Jung Eum gets pissed off because she feels like Jun Hyuk belittles her when he's polite to Se Kyung. Jung Eum comes up with a creative idea to teach him a lesson. Meanwhile, Julien becomes an English-speaking teacher. But Ja Ok is unhappy about how he and Hyeon Gyeong seem close.

Ji Hoon asks Hyeon Gyeong to be his partner at a charity event, but she suggests Se Kyung go instead. Se Kyung is reluctant, but she agrees in the end. However, something comes up, so Ji Hoon ends up going to the event with Jung Eum. She spends a perfect day with Ji Hoon. Meanwhile, Jun Hyuk almost doesn't recognize Se Kyung in her new clothes. And Bo Seog tries to release stress as the doctor suggested.

Se Kyung now has a cell phone, and people around her teach her how to use it. Bo Seog makes a mistake at work. Afraid of Soon Jae, who is very angry, Bo Seog runs away from home and stays in Ja Ok's place.

A class field day is held at Shin Ae and Hae Ri's school to celebrate Father's Day. Shin Ae takes Julien, and Hae Ri takes Soon Jae in place of their dads. A girl suddenly asks Jun Hyuk out and doesn't seem to give up on him easily. So Jun Hyuk asks Jung Eum a strange favor.

To pay back for the lavish anniversary event he held for Ja Ok, Soon Jae decides to cut the household expenses in half and puts Se Kyung in charge of the job. While trying to remove her face on buses taken for a promotional photo for her school, Jung Eum runs into Ji Hoon.

Soon Jae's old friend does a compatibility check for Soon Jae and Ja Ok and tells them they are not well-suited. A man repeatedly makes prank calls to Se Kyung's phone, pretending to be her father. But when they least expect it, Dal Ho calls up his daughters, Se Kyung and Shin Ae.

Jung Eum is just anxious about the fact that Ji Hoon knows about her school. Soon Jae and his family offer Jung Eum to join breakfast, but at the table, Ji Hoon mentions the word “Seowoon,” and Jung Eum faints after hearing him say it. Eventually, Jung Eum asks Ji Hoon an earnest request.

Shin Ae sends her story to the radio station to win a prize for Se Kyung. Maybe her desperate prayer was granted, and her story gets aired all over Korea on the radio. But Soon Jae’s company suffers because of Shin Ae’s story. Ms. Kim and her tenants put their money in stock investment based on Kwang Soo’s words.

Ji Hoon gets into an accident while trying to save Jung Eum, who was too drunk. He plays a prank, and she promises to take responsibility for what happened. Meanwhile, Shin Ae gets full marks on her test. As a reward, Hyeon Gyeong takes Shin Ae and Hae Ri to a buffet.

A friend of Soon Jae's sends him Korean native chickens from the countryside. Hae Ri opens the cage out of curiosity, setting the chickens free in the yard. So the Lee family comes together to regain the yard from the wild chickens. After seeing how well Julien plays basketball, some girls at Pungpa High create his fan club.

Jung Eum sees a drawing of a woman's face in Jun Hyuk's notebook, which resembles her. After a conversation with In Na, she wonders if he has liked her all along. Bo Seog makes a moment's mistake that leaves him feeling embarrassed in front of his family.

Soon Jae realizes that his family members know very little about him. So he holds the first Lee Soon Jae Exam and makes everyone take it. Meanwhile, Jung Eum feels upset that Jun Hyuk treats her differently from Se Kyung. She calls him up to play a game of Truth or Dare.

Shin Ae wants to go to the ocean, thinking she can be close to her dad near the sea. Se Kyung promises her that she'll take her to the ocean someday. After hearing them talk, Jun Hyuk decides to help them to get to the ocean. Meanwhile, Julien learns a traditional Koran folk song from Jung Eum. And Soon Jae misses his late mom as her birthday is drawing near.

Bo Seog takes Hyeon Gyeong to a gathering with his friends. All the other friends' wives publicly show their love for their husbands. Bo Seog wants Hyeon Gyeong to do the same, but she refuses. And he feels like he was humiliated in front of his friends. Meanwhile, Julien's old friend visits him. She says he is Julien's girlfriend, and Shin Ae feels jealous.

Ji Hoon sees Jung Eum shaking with cold and gives her a ride. They both have plans with their friends, but it suddenly starts to snow. Both of their friends cancel on them, so they decide to go somewhere together to enjoy the first snowfall of the season. Meanwhile, Bo Seog hurts his back and sleeps in Se Kyung's room to apply heat to his back. But things don't go his way, and he blames Se Kyung.

Bo Seog, who always gets scolded by Soon Jae, has a chance to shine by himself. The executives at Lee Soon Jae Food and Beverage participate in an athletic meeting, and Bo Seog shows off his athletic skills. Meanwhile, Se Kyung is surprised that Hae Ri's phone bill is 80 dollars. She is curious to know how much her phone bill is, so she asks Ji Hoon about the bill. After she finds out that he is paying her phone bill, she feels like she owes him something. She tries to pay it back, but Ji Hoon doesn't feel too comfortable with it.

Since Hae Ri has no understanding of subtraction, Hyeon Gyeong and Bo Seog try hard to teach her the concept of it. But it doesn’t seem to go well. Jun Hyuk and Jung Eum become awkward. Will the two be able to overcome the awkwardness between them?

Bo Seog can't help but feel that Se Kyung is looking down on him. So he continues to be mean to her, and Se Kyung just doesn't get why he is taking out on her. Meanwhile, feeble brothers have come to Ms. Kim's house. They fall for In Na's beauty and start to act weird.

Jun Hyuk finds out that his underpants has gone missing after he comes out of the shower. And it turns out that Se Kyung has been washing his underpants all along. Meanwhile, everyone gets amazed by Julien's fit build.

Se Kyung and Shin Ae, who have always been getting along, fight for the first time. Shin Ae complains that she can't do anything as she wants in the house, and Se Kyung thinks that Shin Ae acts up. Meanwhile, Ji Hoon and Jung Eum keep bumping into each other unexpectedly in awkward situations.

Hyeon Gyeong and Ja Ok, who have never gotten along, work together toward a common goal. Meanwhile, Mr. Im comes to Soon Jae's house and has a meal with him. Mr. Im falls in love with Se Kyung at first sight and starts to make a move on her. But she feels extremely uncomfortable and awkward.

Soon Jae is displeased with Bo Seog getting all happy and excited when it comes to Japan. Meanwhile, Jun Hyuk starts to study hard before his final exam. His teacher Jung Eum is touched by his enthusiasm and helps him study with passion.

Jung Eum tries to avoid Ji Hoon after she spots him at a café, but he sees her. Ji Hoon points out that her skirt is too short to wear in winter, and Jung Eum gets upset. Soon Jae and Mr. Hong quarrel again and decide to play a basketball game. To win the game, Soon Jae heads somewhere.

It's Hyeon Gyeong's birthday, but every member of her family is busy with their own plans. She pretends not to care but is disappointed that no one is at home to celebrate her birthday. Meanwhile, Kwang Soo and In Na get worried that there is no food left for them to eat. When the poor couple is about to starve, someone approaches In Na and offers to give her food for free.

Bo Seog feels frustrated as he always gets scolded by Soon Jae. But then he finds something that will relieve his stress and gets into it. Meanwhile, Se Kyung doesn't like that Jung Eum makes a mess in the house and wears her scarf without permission. They play a game together by chance, but it becomes an intense fight!

Soon Jae takes Bo Seog, Ji Hoon, and Jun Hyuk on a trip. But Bo Seog acts clumsily and keeps making mistakes throughout the journey. Meanwhile, Kim Beom, a handsome engineering student and Ja Ok's nephew, shows up at her place one day. Jung Eum and In Na fall for Beom's charms.

Hae Ri takes everything Shin Ae has. So Jun Hyuk comes up with a plan to break her bad habit once and for all. Ja Ok visits the hospital for a checkup and warms up to Ji Hoon. After hearing that he doesn't have a girlfriend, she decides to find a good match for him.

Se Kyung helps an old lady on the street who makes a job offer with good pay. Ja Ok decides to sell her house, and a man comes to see the house as soon as she puts it on the market. Jung Eum, Julien, Kwang Soo, and In Na are shocked at the unexpected news.

Jung Eum looks forward to her date with Ji Hoon on Christmas Eve. But he gets caught up with work and calls her at the last minute. Se Kyung and Shin Ae make a Christmas tree together. Ja Ok and Soon Jae go on a date, but Soon Jae is not happy when Julien shows up with Ja Ok.

Hyeon Gyeong gives Se Kyung a bonus and allows her to take a day off. But Se Kyung doesn’t know what to do with this sudden freedom. So she just heads outside of the house all by herself. Ja Ok visits Soon Jae’s house, determined to get closer to Hyeon Gyeong. However, Soon Jae has to leave for work, leaving Ja Ok and Hyeon Gyeong alone in the house.

Hae Ri and Jun Hyuk constantly bicker. Hae Ri finds out that the love of her life, Rain, is performing at a concert Jun Hyuk is going, and she asks him to take her with him. However, Jun Hyuk would never take her with him, so he left her behind. Jung Eum gets shocked by how Ji Hoon introduced her as “just someone he knows” to his acquaintance.

Bo Seog learns a secret skill in rock-paper-scissors that makes him win in every game he plays with his family. Jung Eum and Ji Hoon go on their second date. He notices that her fingers are more swollen than usual and suggests she get a medical checkup.

On New Year's Eve, Soon Jae's family, Ja Ok, and Jung Eum get together at Soon Jae's house. Cham, Soon Jae's brother, visits him from America. Cham suggests that they get divided into two teams and play games. Meanwhile, Kwang Soo wants to go on a ski trip, so he tries to borrow Julien's season pass.

Jun Hyuk hurts his leg while trying to help Se Kyung with household chores. Meanwhile, Soon Jae passes out in his office one day. And a rumor spreads that Soon Jae will retire and Bo Seog will become the next president. So Mr. Bong tries to win his favor.

Jung Eum is upset because she always feels small before Ji Hoon and his friends. One day, Ji Hoon and Jung Eum run into a couple. And a woman called Shin Ji keeps staring at Jung Eum with a suspicious look. Hyeon Gyeong doesn’t like how Ja Ok always steps back at everything just because she’s a woman. To prove Ja Ok wrong, Hyeon Gyeong tries to show that what men can do, women can do too.

During a lesson, Se Kyung asks Jun Hyuk about math problems, which baffles Jun Hyuk. Feeling embarrassed, Jun Hyuk looks for someone who can help Se Kyung solve math problems. After Hae Ri witnesses Shin Ae on Julien’s shoulders, she also tries to ride on Bo Seog’s shoulders, but he can barely stand up. Hae Ri is so determined to ride on Julien’s shoulders that she does everything she can.

Soon Jae invites Ja Ok to come to his place. She uses the bathroom at his place, but then the toilet is clogged. She doesn't want anyone to know about it, so she desperately tries to unclog the toilet. Meanwhile, Jun Hyuk pulls a prank on Se Kyung in front of Ji Hoon, and she gets mad at him. Jun Hyuk is surprised and baffled and becomes cold and aloof toward Se Kyung.

Jung Eum gets a call and hears that she can't graduate as she is short of credits. She decides to do volunteer work at the hospital where Ji Hoon works as a way of earning the credits she needs. However, she encounters a strange old man on her first day at the hospital. Meanwhile, Bo Seog spots the scooter Jun Hyuk bought and wants to ride it to relieve his stress.

Soon Jae buys a diamond ring to propose to Ja Ok, but it goes missing. And Bo Seog and Se Kyung search the house for the ring. Ji Hoon meets a man at the hospital who says he was his senior during his military service. He suggests that they become friends.

Jung Eum is bothered by the fact that Ji Hoon is paying for all the dates they go on. Then, she gets a call that she won prize money of 1,000 dollars. One day, Hae Ri sees Se Ho dancing to a song of Rain's and falls for his charms. But Jun Hyuk tells her that Se Ho likes Jung Eum, who is prettier than her.

Today is Jun Hyuk's birthday, so Jun Hyuk and Se Kyung plan to go to watch a movie together. Se Kyung stays up all night long to make beef bone broth for Ji Hoon, as always. Hyeon Gyeong and Julien play around like kids and end up in a tragedy.

One day, Ja Ok runs into Young Gyu, an old neighbor. He takes her out for a drive and spends time with her. Ja Ok is swayed as this younger guy seems manly and romantic. When Soon Jae proposes to Ja Ok, she is reluctant to give yes as an answer.

Jung Eum, who lacks perseverance, finally lands a job. She is excited on her first day to work, and Ji Hoon roots for her. Meanwhile, Bo Seog is diagnosed with depression, so he decides to follow his father's words to see everything in a positive light.

Se Ho notices that Jun Hyuk has a crush on Se Kyung. So he starts to write a fictitious love story of the two and post it on his blog. Hyeon Gyeong believes that Hae Ri is talented in sports, so she makes her learn figure skating.

Bo Seog is terrified to know that a snake has gotten loose in the house and becomes madly engaged in catching it. Meanwhile, In Na and Jung Eum make a silly bet on who gets to seduce the other's boyfriend first.

Bo Seog is upset that Hyeon Gyeong humiliates him every time they meet with his friends, and they begin their childish quarrel. Meanwhile, Se Kyung runs into Ji Hoon on her way back from running an errand for Soon Jae.

Hyeon Gyeong is not happy with Soon Jae marrying Ja Ok, so Bo Seog and Soon Jae plan a family dinner to make the two get closer. Se Kyung gets help from Ji Hoon with her math studying, and Jun Hyuk feels jealous.

The boiler breaks down in Ja O's house, so everyone in her house comes to stay in Soon Jae's place for one night. Bo Seog sneaks into Ji Hoon's room for a stakeout. Se Kyung keeps an eye on In Na and Kwang Soo. Meanwhile, Ja Ok shares the room with Hae Ri.

Ja Ok is curious to know who Jung Eum is dating. Then, Jung Eum and Ji Hoon run into Ja Ok on their date. Meanwhile, Bo Seog gives away information that causes damage to the company. Soon Jae gets infuriated and demands that he should not say a word at home until he tells him to.

Ja Ok, Hyeon Gyeong, and In Na feel somewhat proud to have Julien as a friend who women find attractive. So the news that Julien got a girlfriend comes as a shock even to Shin Ae. Meanwhile, Jung Eum receives tickets for an art exhibition and is excited to go there with Ji Hoon. But when he can't make it due to work, she asks Se Kyung, who drops by, to join her.

Jun Hyuk is worried about Se Kyung, who doesn't come home until late at night. After that night, Se Kyung suddenly becomes cheerful, and she cleans the entire house. Kwang Soo and In Na have an audition.

Ji Hoon hears bad news at the hospital on his birthday. Jung Eum thinks of a way to cheer him up. Meanwhile, Ja Ok asks Soon Jae to speak more nicely to Bo Seog. But as Ja Ok and Bo Seog spend time together, her impression of Bo Seog changes.

Se Ho thinks of ways to impress Jung Eum and make her fall for him. Jun Hyuk finds himself trying the same methods to impress Se Kyung. Meanwhile, Ja Ok and Hyeon Gyeong go to a sauna together. They both discover a new side to each other.

Shin Ae looks forward to a surprise birthday party but is sad to find out that the family does not know that it's her birthday. Meanwhile, Jung Eum makes a series of complaints that earns her the nickname Complaint Hwang and makes her something of a celebrity in the neighborhood.

Jun Hyuk is shocked to hear that his grades are only good enough to get him to Seowoon University. He goes to a temple to study during the school break. Ja Ok feels left out when Jung Eum, Kwang Soo, In Na, and even Julien don't tell her about Jung Eum's new boyfriend.

Ja Ok almost gets into a car accident, and Soon Jae saves her. She is impressed at how strong he is. Meanwhile, Jung Eum gets stood up because Ji Hoon is busy at the hospital. She runs into Se Kyung and asks her to join her for a drink.

Jung Eum practices driving ahead of a road test, but she is scared of going at a fast speed. Meanwhile, Ms. Baek argues that Bo Seog touched her bottom in his office, but Bo Seog vehemently denies that he sexually harassed her.

Hae Ri figures out that Jun Hyuk has feelings for Se Kyung and starts to sing a song about it constantly. Taken aback at the song, Jun Hyuk tries to shut her mouth up. Soon Jae suddenly falls out of love with Ja Ok after seeing her dance. And Ja Ok becomes aware of it.

Jun Hyuk sees Ji Hoon and Jung Eum together and puts Jung Eum through some trouble because he knows how Se Kyung feels about Ji Hoon. Meanwhile, Bo Seog comes back with a strange golden crown instead of the money he has to collect. Soon Jae and his family wear the crown and experience something weird.

Watching Hae Ri act up, Ja Ok suggests that she should discipline her, and Soon Jae agrees with her. So Shin Ae and Hae Ri go to Ja Ok's house, and Kwang Soo starts to train them. Meanwhile, Ji Hoon offers to teach Se Kyung math, and Jun Hyuk doesn't like it. Jun Hyuk comes up with an idea to stop Se Kyung from being alone with Ji Hoon.

Jung Eum runs into a guy named Ji Sung she used to know when she was young, and she gets to have lunch with him and Ji Hoon. Ji Sung is very friendly toward Jung Eum, but Ji Hoon doesn't feel jealous at all, which offends her a little. Meanwhile, Ja Ok and Soon Jae choose furniture to put in their room, but their tastes are too different.

Women in Seongbuk-dong have been targeted and mugged lately. Jun Hyuk is worried about Se Kyung and follows her around. Meanwhile, Soon Jae, Ja Ok, Bo Seog, and Hyeon Gyeong go on a trip to hot springs. Soon Jae and Ja Ok take care of each other, but Bo Seog and Hyeon Gyeong keep fighting.

Jung Eum graduates from Seowoon University. She is on her way to attend her graduation ceremony, but she runs into Hyeon Gyeong, who is heading to Seoul National University. Meanwhile, Julien reminisces about the past when he had a crush on one of the ladies around him.

Bo Seog visits his friend, who works as a sound engineer at a broadcasting station, and picks up an interesting sound effect. But he keeps playing the sound in front of his family, which has led to a massive incident.

Meanwhile, In Na gets to appear in a music video for a famous idol singer. Kwang Soo feels happy for her at first. But once she starts filming, something makes him uncomfortable.

Soon Jae and Ja Ok's families are about to meet. Soon Jae is worried that Bo Seog may embarrass himself in front of Ja Ok's family, so he even tells Bo Seog not to come. Feeling hurt, Bo Seog comes up with an idea to win the hearts of Ja Ok's family members. Meanwhile, Hae Ri starts to wear a mask she saw in a movie.

Jung Eum is penniless, so she borrows money from her friends. They tease her about having no money, even giving her a nickname. Meanwhile, Soon Jae and Ja Ok take wedding pictures. Ja Ok is excited, trying on various dresses. However, young people at the studio say she doesn't act her age. She feels hurt after hearing that.

Soon Jae’s family gets a robot cleaner at home. It cleans the house by itself, and Ju Hyuk is especially pleased with it. He’s happy that it would do chores for Se Kyung. Jung Eum gets upset because her favorite shoes her father bought her got stained.

Hae Ri enthusiastically runs a campaign to become a class president at school. Full of hope, Hae Ri goes to school on the day of the election. There’s a rumor that Ja Ok’s neighborhood is designated as a redevelopment area, and Jung Eum, Kwang Soo, Julien, and In Na get worried the house might be sold.

Hyeon Gyeong is busy preparing for the wedding of Soon Jae and Ja Ok. She asks Se Kyung to go to the bakery and check out the cake and the dessert for the wedding. And the patissier at the bakery shows interest in Se Kyung, which bothers Jun Hyuk. Meanwhile, Soon Jae has a problem at work as his partner company goes bankrupt.

Jung Eum can't find a job, so she works as a part-timer. She always feels tired as she works day and night, but she keeps it a secret from Ji Hoon. Meanwhile, Hyeon Gyeong finds out that Jun Hyuk is still getting tutored by Jung Eum at Ja Ok's place and starts to get the wrong idea.

Jung Eum tells Ji Hoon that they should break up. Ji Hoon feels sad without knowing the exact reason. Se Ho becomes popular among girls, and it makes Hae Ri feel anxious. So Hae Ri nags her parents and grandpa to let her marry Se Ho now.

Soon Jae's company struggles financially, so Bo Seog and he develop a new menu item to get a loan from a financial institution. Jung Eum works multiple part-time jobs while preparing for job interviews. And Jun Hyuk and Jung Eum have their last tutoring session.

In Na finally makes her debut and moves out of the hanok house. Kwang Soo goes to the broadcasting station to root for In Na, only to get kicked out. Se Kyung receives a letter from her dad.

Shin Ae and Se Kyung decide to go abroad to move in with their father. But Se Kyung tells Shin Ae to keep it a secret yet. Ja Ok is not so happy that Hyeon Gyeong won’t call her “mom.” While bickering, Hyeon Gyeong, and Ja Ok hear that Hae Ri has fallen from the veranda.

Se Kyung asks Jun Hyuk to go to an amusement park with her. Feeling excited, he plans to tell her how he feels about her. Meanwhile, Kwang Soo's friends throw a party on his birthday. However, In Na doesn't come to the party after she said she would. Kwang Soo tries to understand even though he is hurt.

Se Kyung confesses that she has known about Jun Hyuk's feelings for her. Hae Ri is saddened that Shin Ae will move abroad with Se Kyung and her dad. Meanwhile, Ja Ok tells Bo Seog the story of when she and Soon Jae first met.

Jung Eum plans to move into her parents' house in Daejeon. Ji Hoon happens to see Jung Eum getting into an accident and takes her to the hospital to treat her. Se Kyung and Jun Hyuk go on a date for the first and last time.

Se Kyung and Shin Ae are immigrating to Tahiti to live with their dad. Hae Ri doesn't want to say goodbye to Shin Ae. Ji Hoon plans to go to Daejeon to meet Jung Eum. Se Kyung stops by Chorok Hospital to see Ji Hoon for the last time.
