In a small town in Vosges, one remaining factory keeps people afloat. But when the managers announce a redundancy plan, everything crumbles.

Things get increasingly complicated for Martel. Rita takes her brother Greg in after a breakup. Bruce gets involved in a dangerous deal.

Martel and Bruce attempt to carry out an abduction, but it ends in a fiasco when the young woman escapes and finds her way to Rita.

While seeing his mother, Martel learns that the Benbareks have also paid a visit. Vélocia's management files a complaint against Rita.

Rita lies in hospital after an attack at her home. Things are no better for Martel, especially when a tragic event adds to his growing problems.

While living with Martel, Rita questions what she knows about him and finds a damning photo. Alone again, Martel can no longer contain his rage.
