Season 1

Dr. Jennifer Leong , a brilliant psychiatrist, deals with cases of elder abuse, bullying, cyber bullying, gambling, transgender issues and mental disorders while hiding a deep dark secret of her own. A secret that may lead her to losing her career, her family, her friends and even ultimately her life.

Jen’s past comes back to haunt her as she comes face to face with Mark, a troubled teenage bully, whose life she may have ruined when he was a young child. The thing is, Mark doesn’t know it was her that’s the cause of all his problems.

Henry, a compulsive gambler, seeks Jen’s help when he realizes that he loves the casino a little too much. What he doesn’t tell is that he hasn’t told his family about the hole that he’s been sinking deeper and deeper into because of his gambling. Jen also continues to work with Mark as her guilt eats away at her. Someone who’s found out about Jen’s past is blackmailing her.

It’s not easy to belong and even harder to fit in when you’re transgender living in a society that may not be very accepting of your lifestyle. Ryan, formerly Rachel, comes to see Jen when a rival at work threatens to expose him. The blackmail messages intensify.

Cyber bullying has become a prevalent social issue in this technological age. Jen teams up with Nic to help a woman who has been cyber bullied to the point that she tries to take her own life. Jen finds an ally who has known her secret all along and has been protecting her.

Mark takes his revenge on Jen as a person long believed dead comes back into Jen’s life. Mental illness is an issue that takes its toll not only on the person suffering from it, but on the entire family as Jen and her family find out.

The series comes to a close as Jen’s fate is revealed and the blackmailer is exposed.
